 माँ एक ऐसा शब्द जिसके उच्चारण के साथ ही अंतर्मन में ऐसी भावना जाग्रत होती है जो करुणा, कोमलता और दया की भावना से ओत-प्रोत होती है, यही वो शब्द है जो हर शिशु जन्म लेने के पश्चात सर्वप्रथम बोलता है, माँ शब्द को परिभाषित करना अपने आप में एक बहुत जटिल कार्य है जिसकाएक छोटा सा  प्रयास मैंने किया है|एक नारी के गर्भ से जीवन का सृजन होता है जिसकी वजह से वह जननी कहलाती है|

इस संपूर्ण संसार में विधाता के बाद अगर कोई सर्वश्रेष्ठ चीच बच्चें के लिए बनी है तो वो सिर्फ और सिर्फ माँ है। माता, जननी, माई, धात्री, महतारी एवं माँ के रूप में वह ईश्वर है या ईश्वर से भी बढ़कर है। कहते हैं कि ईश्वर हर जगह नहीं पहुंच सकता इसीलिए उसने मां बना दी। जो हर किसी की होती है, हर किसी के पास होती है। शारीरिक उपस्थिति मां के लिए मायने नहीं रखती। वह होती है तो उसकी ईश्वरीय छाया सुख देती है जब ‘नहीं’ होती है तब उसके आशीर्वादों का कवच हमें सुरक्षा प्रदान करता है।

एक माँ अपने बच्चे के लिए किस हद तक जा सकती है इसका अंदाज़ा लगाना बहुत मुश्किल है क्योंकि जब वो बच्चा इस दुनिया में भी नही आया होता है उसके पहले से ही उसकी माँ उसको अपने खून से सींच रही होती है। मां का प्यार दुनिया में सबसे सच्छा होता है और मां के प्यार में कभी भी धोखा नहीं मिलता ।

परन्तु आज के समय में मां की भूमिका और भी चुनौतीपूर्ण हो गई है। बदलते परिवेश में अपने बच्चे को सही शिक्षा देना किसी चुनौती से कम नहीं। माएं कामकाजी हो रही हैं इसीलिए काम के साथ-साथ उसे अपने बच्चों का भी ख्याल रखना है। वह खुद तो कामकाजी हैं ही, अपनी बेटी को भी उसी कामयाबी और बुलंदी पर पहु्ंचाने की भरसक कोशिश में लगी रहती हैं। 

But in today's time the role of mother has become even more challenging. Giving the right education to your child in the changing environment is no less than a challenge. Mothers are working, so along with work, she has to take care of her children as well. Not only is she working herself, she is also trying her best to make her daughter reach the same success and height.

एक मां जिंदगी के आखिरी वक्त तक अपने बच्चों को हर खुशी और हर कामयाबी को छूने में मदद करती है। हमारे बुरे समय में उम्मीद की झलक देती है। वो हमारे हर सुख-दुख का कारण जानती है और कोशिश करती है कि हम हमेशा खुश रहें। इसलिए वह त्यागमूर्ति, ममतामयी, पूजनीय कही जाती है।

A mother helps her children to touch every happiness and every success till the end of life. Gives a glimmer of hope in our bad times. She knows the reason for our every happiness and sorrow and tries to be happy always. That is why she is called renunciation, loving, worshipable.

माता ही परिवार में शिशु की पहली गुरु होती है और उसके द्वारा दी गई शिक्षा शिशु के मानस पटल पर जीवन पर्यंत एक अमिट छाप बनकर रहती है, दुनिया में हर रिश्ता आपको दोबारा मिल सकता है|
