 माँ हमेशा परिवार को एक बंधन में बांधकर रखती है। माँ अपने बच्चों के बारे में जानती है और माँ यह भी जानती है कि बच्चे को किस प्रकार सही रास्ता दिखाना है। माँ का सबसे अधिक समय संतान की देखभाल में ही गुजरता है। एक माँ ही संतान में संस्कार प्रदान करती है। एक माँ बच्चे की सबसे पहली गुरु होती है।

Mother always keeps the family tied in a bond. The mother knows about her children and the mother also knows how to show the child the right path. Most of a mother's time is spent in the care of the child. Only a mother imparts sanskar in the child. A mother is the first teacher of a child.

समाज और देश के प्रति हमारी जिम्मेदारियों के सही मायने भी हमारी माँ ही सिखाती है। माँ ही बच्चे को नई-नई बातें सिखाती है और सही सीख के साथ आगे बढने के लिए प्रेरित करती है जिससे हम पीछे न रह सकें। बच्चे बड़े होने पर अपने स्तर पर माँ और उनके जीवन को अलग-अलग पहचान और महत्व देते हैं लेकिन माँ बिना किसी पहचान और लालच के अपने बच्चों के लिए कष्ट व प्रताड़ना को सहती हुई पालन पोषण करती है।

Our mother also teaches the true meaning of our responsibilities towards society and country. It is the mother who teaches new things to the child and motivates them to move forward with the right learning so that we cannot be left behind. When children grow up, they give different identity and importance to the mother and their life at their level, but the mother nurtures her children without any identity and greed, enduring pain and harassment for her children.

माँ अपने बच्चे की पसंद-नापसंद को सबसे बेहतर समझती है और बच्चे को सही गलत में अंतर करना सिखाती है। इस दुनिया में माँ की तुलना किसी और से नहीं की जा सकती है क्योंकि बच्चे को पालने के लिए माँ के जितना स्नेह, त्याग और अनुशासन कोई और नहीं कर सकता है। हम कहीं भी रहे माँ का आशीर्वाद हमारे साथ रहता है। माँ के आशीर्वाद के बिना रहना हमारे लिए कल्पना से परे है।

Mother understands the likes and dislikes of her child best and teaches the child to differentiate between right and wrong. Mother cannot be compared to any other in this world because no one else can do as much love, sacrifice and discipline as a mother to raise a child. Wherever we are, the blessings of the mother stay with us. It is beyond our imagination to live without mother's blessings.

 माँ के प्रेम की तुलना किसी और चीज से करना सूरज के सामने दीया जलाने के समान है। सुबह के समय वह बहुत ही प्यार के साथ बच्चे को उठाती है और रात के समय वह बहुत प्यार के साथ कहानियाँ सुनाकर बच्चे को सुलाती है। माँ बच्चे को स्कूल जाने के लिए तैयार होने में बच्चे की मदद करती है और बच्चे के लिए सुबह का नाश्ता और दोपहर का खाना भी बना कर देती है। माँ दोपहर को बच्चे के स्कूल से आने का इंतजार करते हुए दरवाजे पर खड़ी रहती है। 

Comparing a mother's love to anything else is like lighting a lamp in front of the sun. In the morning she very lovingly picks up the child and during the night she lulls the child to sleep by telling stories with great love. Mother helps the child in getting the child ready to go to school and also prepares breakfast and lunch for the child. Mother stands at the door in the afternoon waiting for the child to come from school.

माँ बच्चे का होमवर्क करवाती है। परिवार के सदस्य अन्य कामों में व्यस्त रहते हैं लेकिन माँ सिर्फ बच्चे के लिए समर्पित रहती है। जब बच्चे को कोई हानि होती है तो माँ को दूर से ही आभाष हो जाता है कि उसकी संतान पर कोई संकट है। माँ की ममता ऐसी होती है कि बच्चा अपनी माँ से बिना डरे हर बात साझा कर लेता है। चाहे बच्चा कितना भी बड़ा हो जाये लेकिन वह माँ के लिए सदैव ही बच्चा रहता है और एक बच्चे की तरह ही उसकी देखभाल करती है।

Mother gets the child's homework done. The family members are busy with other work but the mother is devoted only to the child. When the child suffers any loss, the mother gets a sense from afar that her child is in trouble. Mother's love is such that the child shares everything with his mother without fear. No matter how big the child becomes, but she always remains a child for the mother and takes care of her like a child.

हमारे लिए माँ सबसे अच्छा खाना बनाने वाली, सबसे अच्छी बातें करने वाले, सबसे अच्छा सोचने वाली और सभी दुखों के सामने पहाड़ की तरह खड़ी रहने वाली है लेकिन माँ जरूरत पड़ने पर अपने बच्चे के अच्छे भविष्य के लिए उसे डांट भी सकती है। माँ बच्चे को सही कामों के लिए सदैव समर्थन देती है।

For us mother is the best cook, the best talker, the best thinker and the one who stands like a mountain in front of all sorrows but mother can also scold her child for good future if needed. Mother always supports the child to do the right things.

आरंभ में संतान सबसे अधिक माँ के संपर्क में होती है इसलिए माँ के मार्गदर्शन में ही संतान का विकास होता है। केवल माँ ही अपने बच्चे में महान संतों, महा पुरुषों की जीवनी सुनाकर महान व्यक्ति बनने के संस्कारों को कूट-कूटकर भरती है। एक माँ ही संतान को सामाजिक मर्यादाओं में रहना सिखाती है।

Initially, the child is in contact with the mother the most, so the development of the child takes place only under the guidance of the mother. Only the mother instills in her child the rites of becoming a great person by narrating the biographies of great saints and great men. Only a mother teaches the child to live in social norms.

एक माँ ही संतान को उच्च विचारों का महत्व बताती है। एक माँ अपनी संतान को चरित्रवान, गुणवान बनाने में अपना पूरा योगदान देती है। किसी भी व्यक्ति का चरित्र उसकी माँ की बुद्धिमता पर निर्भर करता है। एक माँ अपने संतान के लिए सर्वाधिक प्रिय होती है। एक माँ अपनी संतान के लिए पूरे संसार से लड़ जाती है लेकिन माँ का संतान के प्रति अँधा प्रेम संतान के लिए अहितकर सिद्ध होता है।

Only a mother tells the importance of high thoughts to the child. A mother gives her full contribution in making her child of character and quality. The character of any person depends on the intelligence of his mother. A mother is the most dear to her child. A mother fights with the whole world for her child, but the blind love of the mother towards the child proves to be injurious to the child.

मुझे मेरी माँ से बहुत प्रेम है। माँ वह है जो हमारे सुख-दुःख की साथी होती है और हमेशा और हमें पूरी दुनियां में सबसे अधिक प्यार करती है। माँ ही हमारी पहली शिक्षक होती है। वह हमें जन्म देती है और इस सुंदर धरती पर लाती है। माँ ही हमें अच्छे बुरे का ज्ञान देती है। माँ हमारे खाने पीने से लेकर हमारी हर एक चीज का ध्यान रखती है। माँ यह भी जान जाती है कि कब मेरा बच्चा दुखी है और कब नहीं है।

I love my mother very much. Mother is the one who is the companion of our happiness and sorrow and always and loves us the most in the whole world. Mother is our first teacher. She gives birth to us and brings us to this beautiful earth. Mother gives us the knowledge of good and bad. Mother takes care of everything from our food and drink. Mother also knows when my child is sad and when she is not.

माँ हमारे हर एक काम में और हमारी किसी भी प्रगति के मार्ग में हमारे साथ हमें सहायता देने के लिये कड़ी होती है। हमें कितनी भी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़े पर वह हमारे साथ कदम से कदम मिलाकर खड़ी रहती है। माँ बहुत व्यस्त रहती है फिर भी जब हम उसे एक आवाज़ देते है वह सारे काम छोड़कर एक बार में आ जाती है।

Mother is hard to help us with us in every work and in any of our progress. No matter how many difficulties we face, she stands by us step by step. Mother is very busy yet when we give her a voice she leaves all the work and comes at once.

वह सोने से पहले हमारे लिये बिस्तर लगाती है जब बचपन में हमें नींद नहीं आती है तो वह हमें लोरियां, कहानियां सुनाती है ताकि हम आराम से सो सके। माँ से बढ़कर पूजनीय और कोई नहीं होता है। आप सभी ने सुना होगा पूत कपूत सुने पर न माता सुनी कुमाता अर्थात एक बार पुत्र तो कुपुत्र हो भी सकता है पर माता  कुमाता कभी नहीं हो सकती है।

She makes bed for us before sleeping, when we can't sleep in childhood, she tells us lullabies, stories so that we can sleep comfortably. There is no one more worshipful than a mother. You all must have heard that the son listens to the son but neither listens to the mother, that means once a son can be a son, but a mother can never be a mother.

मेरी माँ बहुत ही स्वादिष्ट खाना बनाती है और घर के सभी सदस्य को प्रेम पूर्वक खिलाती भी है। माँ घर में सभी का ध्यान रखती है, इसीलिए हमको भी अपनी माँ की देखभाल करना चाहिये, जब माँ को आपसे कोई काम हो तो ज़रूर उनकी सहायता करना चाहिए। मैं अपनी माँ का पूरा-पूरा ख्याल रखता हूँ यहाँ तक कि मैं रसोई के काम में भी उनकी सहायता करता हूँ।

My mother cooks very tasty food and also feeds all the members of the house with love. Mother takes care of everyone in the house, that's why we should also take care of our mother, when mother has any work from you, then definitely help her. I take full care of my mother even I help her in the kitchen work.

माँ हमें हमेशा शिक्षाप्रद बातें सिखाती है। वह हमें बुरे लोगों से दूर रहने को कहती है। हमें अच्छे बुरे की पहचान कराती है। वह हमें एक अच्छाई का पाठ पढ़ाती है वह सबकी सहायता करने को कहती है और सच बोलते की शिक्षा देती है। माँ को हमारे पुराणों में भगवान की उपमा दी गयी है। माँ हमारे लिये पूजनीय है। हम सभी को माँ की इज्जत व सम्मान करना चाहिये।

Mother always teaches us instructive things. She tells us to stay away from bad people. Makes us recognize good and bad. She teaches us a lesson of goodness, tells us to help everyone and teaches us to speak the truth. Mother has been given the analogy of God in our Puranas. Mother is revered for us. We all should respect and respect the mother.
