 माँ वह है जो हमें जन्म देती है, यहीं कारण है कि संसार में हर जीवनदायनी वस्तु को माँ की संज्ञा दी गयी है। यदि हमारे जीवन के शुरुआती समय में कोई हमारे सुख-दुख में हमारा साथी होता है तो वह हमारी माँ ही होती है। माँ हमें कभी इस बात का एहसास नही होने देती की संकट के घड़ी में हम अकेले हैं। इसी कारणवश हमारे जीवन में माँ के महत्व को नकारा नही जा सकता है।

Mother is the one who gives birth to us, this is the reason why every life-giving thing in the world has been given the name of mother. If at the beginning of our life someone is our partner in our happiness and sorrow, then it is our mother. Mother never lets us realize that we are alone in times of crisis. For this reason, the importance of mother in our life cannot be denied.

माँ वह है जो हमें जन्म देने के साथ ही हमारा लालन-पालन भी करती हैं। माँ के इस रिश्तें को दुनियां में सबसे ज्यादा सम्मान दिया जाता है। यहीं कारण है प्रायः संसार में ज्यादेतर जीवनदायनी और सम्माननीय चीजों तो माँ के संज्ञा दी गयी है जैसे कि भारत माँ, धरती माँ, पृथ्वी माँ, प्रकृति माँ, गौ माँ आदि। इसके साथ ही माँ को प्रेम और त्याग की प्रतिमूर्ति भी माना गया है। इतिहास कई सारी ऐसे घटनाओं के वर्णन से भरा पड़ा हुआ है। जिसमें मताओं ने अपने संतानों के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार के दुख सहते हुए अपना सर्वस्व न्यौछावर कर दिया। यही कारण है कि माँ के इस रिश्तें को आज भी संसार भर में सबसे सम्मानित तथा महत्वपूर्ण रिश्तों में से एक माना जाता है।

Mother is the one who gives birth to us as well as takes care of us. This relationship of mother is given the highest respect in the world. This is the reason that most of the life-giving and honorable things in the world have been given the name of mother such as Mother India, Mother Earth, Mother Earth, Mother Nature, Mother Cow etc. Along with this, mother is also considered as the epitome of love and sacrifice. History is replete with descriptions of many such incidents. In which mothers sacrificed their lives for the sake of their children, suffering various kinds of miseries. This is the reason that this relationship of mother is still considered one of the most respected and important relationships in the world.
